Wine translation workshop

I am delighted to have completed an online workshop that focused on ES-EN-ES translation in the field of winemaking.
I can say with great satisfaction that the workshop exceeded my expectations from a pedagogical and linguistic point of view.
The content of the workshop on “the language of the vine” has introduced me to semantic notions that enable me to understand and conceptualize very subtle but at the same time crucial biological and cultural processes in the world of wine. Some of them, I believe, will be useful to understand other traditional crafts and practices, by way of an ethnographic approach. In the “wine translation” workshop I learnt how to systematically analyze different types of texts about wine, and I also enjoyed a hermeneutic journey through great literary writings in which wine plays a crucial role.
